AELLA ((I know I'm 4 and I thought you were 7?)) Aella attempted to snarl at the male, but found her entire muzzle frozen. She did the closest thing she could to a sigh. It was bound to be a long three hours. Temporarily surrendering herself, she relaxed her bristled fur and waited patiently as she could.

STERLING "M'name's Sterling," the dog said, stifling a snicker as the android chick made a weird noise. He stood up and shifted his weight impatiently, yawning to display how awfully tired he was, and that she should show him this place right now. He studied both dogs before leaning on one side to look at the 'android' dog or whatever. "Hey, anyone home?" he asked, tail wagging slightly, "Yo, chick, can you talk or not? I could'a sworn I heard you chit-chattin' with her earlier. Just lemme know if you're an android. I dig that." He gave her a joking wink and then hopped on his toes, turning to the other dog. "C'mon, show me."
With a flick of her tail, Shax led them towards the abandoned police academy. Inside she knew there were beds, for the humans and the dogs spent the night occasionally. As expected there was three twin beds in one room. "Dibs!" She yelled as she jumped on the one in the middle. "Shax is the name and this bed is my game!"

AELLA Aella ignored any comments made by Sterling, and followed silently. They walked through the ruins into the center of the old town, into the pathetic shack that was once the police academy. When presented with the three beds, she instinctively sat on the once nearest to the door.

[will edit this later, for now I'm on my phone And, Sterling's like 2-3] STERLING The young male only snickered at Aella's reaction and trailed after Shax with a lolling tongue. He scampered to the side of the road, jumping on boxes and knocking various objects down along the way. When they arrived at the police station, he entered and tilted his head with a crooked grin. "Anyone wanna share?" he asked flirtatiously, tossing his head and perking his ears. Sterling let out an obnoxious laugh and darted forward, skidding across the floor in the bed, slamming into a wall with a grunt. The fleece of the dog bed was enough to satisfy (even though he'd much prefer a human's bed), and as if instinct, he plopped on to his elbows and started slobbering and chewing. After realizing he was hungry, the shepherd licked his jaws, but fell asleep with his mouth open before he could say another word.

Shax shook her head lazily. The younger dogs sure were tired. She smiled softly before laying her head on her paws. "Night guys," she said quietly. Pricking her ear for any sign of danger before drifting slowly to sleep, Shax smiled at the sense of security in having a small "pack" sort of thing.

AELLA It was still dark when Aella woke, but only just. She yawned, relieved to have her jaw freed, before gingerly springing out of bed, landing without a sound. She had intended to make a run for it, but after glancing at the two dogs, she sighed. She owed respect to Shax and Sterling, well.... he was pretty handsome. She shook her head in disapproval of herself, than spun around to face the exit. He hesitated for only a moment before bounding out, her senses keen to look for food.

[Yeah, do you want it?] STERLING The dog shifted in his bed, momentarily forgetting what had happened the previous day. After shaking out his grogginess and getting to his paws, Sterling noticed that Aella- or, what he liked to call the mute android - was gone. "Hey," he muttered, moving to tap Shax with his paw. "Do you know where she went?" He yawned and sat down to scratch at his ears. Then Sterling sniffed and said, "Dogs used to like, live here? I betcha there's food somewhere! Let's go and find some, I'm starving!"

Shax groaned sleepily. Aella's scent was fading. She opened her eyes sleepily. She was gone. She looked back to sterling and answered groggily, "Ok I'll show you were the kitchen was,"

AELLA She bounded quickly through the rubble, her nose high in the air. She couldn't help but give a sly grin as a cool wind brushed against her face. She was light on her feet, and it wasn't long before the breeze brought the lovely scent of a hare. The hare stood no chance, and her lower jaw allowed her to easily break it's spine. She began to trot back over to the building, pleased with herself.

[mine's birdardini if you want 0: ] STERLING The shepherd nodded and wagged his tail, trotting after Shax with his nose twitching. "Awesome. I'm serious though, we can't have a crazy robot on the loose. Do you even remember why you were fighting? Dude." He licked his jowls as they entered the kitchen, relishing in the old-food scent. "Aww, nice. Where the food at?" He hopped up on his hind legs, placing his big paws on the counter. Sterling slipped off, claws making scratches along the cold surface. "Hmm..." he muttered as he sniffed around, shoving over various discarded objects until he came upon a small, cylindrical trash bin. "Dude! There's gotta be some good stuff in here!" He easily knocked it over and started digging at it with his front paws, nose burrowing into the small amount of trash. Finally, Sterling discovered a small chicken wing bone, a bit of meat still clinging to the bones. He grinned and flopped in the pile of trash with a little thump, taking care not to swallow the small bone.

Shax rolled her eyes as he dug in the trash bin. She opened a cabinet with her nose and found a pack of beef jerky. "Nice!" She said aloud. In the next cabinet she found what she least expected. It was her old vest. It still had her name stitched into it from her partners girlfriend. She smelled it. Happily, she slid her head into it and worked it onto the rest of her body. Once she got it on, she ate through the plastic holder of the jerky and ate a piece then she stuffed the rest of the pack into her vest pocket and nosed the Velcro closed.

AELLA Aella had only just entered the building when she caught the two dogs scents. She did her best to follow the trail, but it was made difficult with the hare right below her nose. Trying to ignore the smell, she slowed her pace down to a walk. After roughly ten minutes of walking, she entered what clearly used to be a kitchen. She practically choked on all the dust and spice in the air.

STERLING Despite not fulfilling his hunger-needs, Sterling was done eating for now. He was accustomed to not eating enough, probably. The rambunctious shepherd hopped back to Shax, but skidded to a stop on the cold floor, eyes wide. "Dude, what the heck are you wearing?" he said in an attempt to tell himself not to fear the other dog's.. er, outfit. Obviously the dog had never been owned by humans, meaning he feared the police to no end. Coming into the facility was fine, since they were, well, dead. Yet this made him narrow his eyes all over again. As Aella (the android) came padding in, Sterling turned around and trotted over to her, claws click-clacking on the cold floor below him. "Hey! You're gonna share that, right?"
She frowned at Sterling's reaction. "It's my vest." She replied flatly. Shax walked over to Aella and sniffed her nose to tail making she was okay. "Where'd you go?" She questioned the younger female, her southern accent showing through slightly.

AELLA/b] "To get food" she said simply. Aella plopped down onto the ground with her silver hare and procceded to tear off a leg. She gently tossed the leg to Sterling, then repeated the process for Shax before eating herself.

[sorry this is so late, i've had personal trouble recently] STERLING The shepherd wolfed down the meat around the bone like nobody's business, but his thoughts were still stuck on the dog wearing the.. uniform. After a very long while of silence and munching, he lifted his head. "Can you take that off?" Sterling barked in a bit of a condescending tone, "We're not human dogs anymore. They're dead." Obviously there was no way the male would reveal the fact he feared the outfit, nor would he hint at it- he just wanted her to take that stupid thing off. "Okay. Now what?"

[No worries, I understand ] AELLA Aella looked away from Sterling, brought back to reality by his false certainly. She had allowed herself to get too comfortable around these dogs, and worse, she filled another purpose than what she was told. She kept her head turned away as her guilt began to grow.
Shax growled, "how can you possibly believe that /all/ of then are dead?" She lay down and glared at him while slowly taking bites out of the leg. She sniffed gingerly at the vest. "And no, this belongs to me."
